MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The death of a teenage hunter is under investigation after his body was found Saturday night in a northern Minnesota deer stand.
The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office says the 16-year-old was found around 5:30 p.m. dead of a gunshot wound by a member of his hunting party. The group was deer hunting in White Township, just southwest of Aurora.
The teen’s name has yet to be released.
Aurora is about 60 miles north of Duluth.
